Butter Chicken or Makhan Murg is a dish, originating in Indian Subcontinent.
It is creamy red gravy which is mildly spiced. The origin is often traced back to Punjab. It is one of the most popular Indian dishes. Butter chicken is probably one of the most popular Indian chicken recipes liked in India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.

CHICKEN MARINATION INGREDIENTS
- 1 KG.Chicken Boneless or with bones
- 1 tsp.Salt
- 1.5 tsp. Roasted cumin powder
- 1.5 tbsp. Red chili powder
- 2 tbsp. Lemon juice
- 2 tbsp. Melted butter
- 1 tsp. Garlic paste
- 1 tsp. Ginger paste
- 1/2 cup Yogurt
- 1 tbsp. Oil
GRAVY INGREDIENTS
- 2-3 tbsp. Butter
- 2pcs. Onions (large)
- 4pcs. Tomatoes (large)
- 1-2 Garlic cloves
- 1-2 green chilies
- 1 tbsp. Kashmiri red chili powder
- 1-2 cloves
- 1-2pcs. cardamon
- 1 bay leaf
- 1-inch cinnamon stick
- 1.5 tsp.salt
- 1 tsp.sugar
- 2 tsp. dried fenugreek leaves
- 1 tsp.fresh garam amsla
- 1/2 glass water
- 1/2 cup cream fresh
FOR GARNISHING
- Cream
- Butter
- Fresh Coriander
